Mmmwhelp, it’s official.  I am now 27 years old.

I suppose any hopes of going out in a rock star blaze of glory have effectively gone out the window.

I sadly can’t even muster up the energy to celebrate it right now.  Today was our big bi-annual sales event at my job today.  It went well, but almost at the cost of our sanity.  So right now I’m celebrating with a take-out cheeseburger and a cold beer, perhaps as it should be.

Like my New Year’s post, I’m going to take a second to focus on the positives in my life right now instead of the negatives like I usually do.

The second print volume of my webcomic is 99% ready to go, and I couldn’t be more excited or proud of it.

I’ll be showing off said print volumes at my favorite convention in the world (and another big convention not two weeks after it), where I’ll get to mingle with great artists I admire as well as some old friends.

After some sluggish output in 2011, I find myself doing two mini’s, an anthology submission, a few commissions, getting a bunch of prints ready I know will sell well, and possibly restarting one of my older webcomics even better than before.

So far, Age 27 is hitting the ground running.

Let’s hope I can keep up the pace.
