Seems so long ago I attended my first Last Thursday when I moved to Portland in 2012. Setting up is first come, first serve, and I usually like to set up outside the Salt & Straw on NE 21st. Nothing was available there because they’re repaving the road, but one of the parking lot managers pointed out to me that because Alberta was closed off, the Trimet stops wouldn’t be in use.

Long story short, I drew portraits in a bus stop for the evening.

I only had a third of the time I had at Taylor Electric Project, and really the crowd’s only pick up at 7PM, so in reality I had only two hours. But what a crowd! I was super-impressed.
